Goodreads Review:
“This was EXCELLENT. Although the beginning of the book did not hook me, causing me to put it down for a bit, when I started reading this again, I couldn’t stop. The pacing was off the charts, partially due to the short chapters, but also due to the gradual buildup of suspense that was so addicting. The main character, President Jonathan Duncan, was also a really charismatic, relatable narrator, which made the stakes of this novel feel even higher.
Writing wise, James Patterson and Bill Clinton clearly collaborated brilliantly on this novel. While James Patterson’s classic writing style was clearly present, I also could tell Bill Clinton’s had lent a great deal of expertise on the life of a President, which was really fascinating to read about.
Overall, this was just a highly addicting, quick read that I loved all the way to the end. Highly recommend, and I’m looking forward to more collaboration between James Patterson and Bill Clinton.”
