My Goodreads Review:

“Another excellent Adam Silvera book! He’s two for two with me, although I definitely liked They Both Die at the End more than this one.

Either way, I really enjoyed my time reading this story. It was heartfelt for sure, although I wouldn’t say I was ever too emotionally distraught like I was in the last book I read by him. I also didn’t love Griffin as a main character; I understood that he was supposed to be spiteful and flawed as part of his grieving process, but I still found his choices and attitude frustrating. However, I really liked the split between the sections told in the past (“History”) and the parts in present day (“Today”). If not for the ending, I may have rated this a little lower, but everything was wrapped up and tied together really nicely.

Overall, I think this is a worthwhile read for sure! But if you haven’t read any Adam Silvera books, I’d start with They Both Die at the End. On a side note, if anyone’s read Infinity Son, let me know how it is, because it looks interesting but does not seem to be very well-liked.”
