Hey guys! It’s been a trend for a while to predict 5-star reads from books on your TBR. I’ve really liked these types of posts, and I’ve only done one of them before, and it was a while ago. I thought I’d list a few more books that I own but haven’t read and think I’ll give a five-star rating once I do. Sometimes this is tricky for me because I have all of my books because I expect to really love them. I don’t really buy books thinking they will be 4-star reads if that makes sense. Either way, here are some books on my TBR I feel really confident that I will give 5-stars to and why.
cress
It’s been a long time since I read Cinder and Scarlet, but I still definitely have interest in finishing the series. Part of the reason it has taken me so long to continue is that the length of the last two books intimidated me, but lately I’ve read way longer books, so I’m ready to finally start Cress. Regardless, Cress is usually said to be the best novel in the entire series, and although I wasn’t obsessed with the first two books like some people, I saw incredible potential. I think this will be a favorite of mine.
history is all you left me
I often forget I own this book, but I really should pick it up after loving They Both Die at the End so much. Just based on the fact that I loved another Adam Silvera book, and this one seems like another novel I’d enjoy, I expect to really like History is All You Left of Me.
snow like ashes
I’ve been wanting to read Snow Like Ashes from the moment I heard about it. I really like seasonal and elemental magic, so when I heard this was about kingdoms based on the different seasons, I was hooked. Based on that description, and the fact that it’s supposed to be action-packed, I feel like this is a really entertaining fantasy book I’d fly through.
wundersmith
I really liked Nevermoor, and so did pretty much everyone else. I’ve never heard a bad thing about this series. In fact, I’ve heard Wundersmith is even better than the first book, which a lot of people LOVED. Although Nevermoor just barely missed on getting a 5-star rating, I think Wundersmith will definitely get one based on the hype.
the scorpion rules
This one is more of a gut feeling than the other four on the list. Although The Scorpion Rules got a lot of hype upon its release, it did get mixed reviews. However, the plot of the book just sounds like something I’d eat up. I just have a really good feeling about this duology that I can’t exactly place, but I do think this first book will get a 5-star rating once I get around to it.
